It makes wonderful small screens because of the robust foliage. From China but widely used in Japan. Called Hime-hachiku in Japan. | This is one the best species for a short screen. It can provide a great screen from just above ground level to 8-15 feet depending on you location. Many species of bamboo will start to thin out when confined to a small area but this species becomes lush and provides a great small privacy hedge. | |
