Bamboo Planting Instructions |

| Use knife or scissors to carefully open box. |

| Extend bamboo from box. Use caution because bamboo can be much taller than the box. |

| Lay box down, locate brace cane and gently pull bamboo from box. |

| Use knife or scissors to remove all layers of wrapping. |

| Pull packaging from plant to expose root mass. |

| Decide on the spot to plant bamboo. |

| Dig your hole to plant the bamboo. Hole should be about twice the size of the bamboo. |

| Use the composted manure to amend your planting site. Manure is not necessary but it will help your bamboo if your soil is deficient of any nutrients. |

| Bamboo is not sensitive about planting height but it will be best to position top of root ball at or slight below soil level. |

| Use composted manure mixed with original soil around the root ball. |

| Water heavily to help remove any air pockets. |

| Replace any soil that has settled from the watering. |

| Pack the soil tightly to prevent bamboo from moving. |

| Mulch a few inches. Any mulch will work. Mulch will help retain water and help insulate your planting. |

| Remember to water heavily for the first few weeks to help the bamboo get acclimated to the new environment. Bamboo like water but loves drainage, so make sure that the bamboo's soil is not wet when you start to water again. We hope you enjoy your bamboo. |
